100% of the money raised through Operation Teddy Bear Care goes to help provide comfort for South African children whose lives have been impacted by the AIDS epidemic. For as little as $10.00 U.S. or ZAR10.00 you can purchase a gift for a needy child. There are also other packages available some of which include teddy bears and teddy bear biscuits (cookies), books, activity packs or comfort packs.
For Christmas we have added a Christmas pack.
Donations can be made your credit card via Setcom, a secure payment gateway, in U.S dollars or South African Rands.
You can also do a direct deposit into our bank account.

Our South African team members sew as many teddy bears as possible by hand and bake the homemade biscuits fresh. The rest of the teddy bears packages are purchased locally through our donation on site. This means you spend NOTHING on shipping, no matter where you live, and no fossil fuel is wasted to ship items overseas. It also allows us to support the South African economy by employing local people and purchasing items at local businesses.
If you prefer to ship items directly to South Africa, please email OperationTeddyBearCare@gmail.com and tell us what items you plan to ship. We will reply with the shipping address.
